FTWs by Martin Eco Products is the clear choice for a resilient investment lasting over 20+ years. 

The islands can be walked on for maintenance and our plants never need to be removed as the root stock is established in the matrix of the FTW. Nutrient uptake and accretion takes place in the biofilm established in the root system, then later stored in the leaves which are harvested on a maintenance schedule improving water quality. FTW are constructed wetland that are modular and can be made into any shape, size, or configuration for your design needs. Our FTW's are a natural and passive option to chemical treatments to clean and treat stormwater, effluent, industrial, and closed basin water bodies struggling with excessive nutrient loading.

      In our WWTP projects in Dresden, Tennessee, the operator reported FTW's increased the water quality post installation by removing a total of 41% phosphorus and 31% nitrogen reductions. Their second installation was completed in November 2025 and they are planning for additional installations in the future. When considering polishing ponds and peek performance, exceedance, and aging infrastructure efficiencies, FTW is a proven alternative to improve water quality to stay in compliance with the ERP. 


      No water treatment cannot remove all contaminants from water. Some contaminants, such as forever chemicals pose serious threats to our environment and health.

      Through biomimicry, FTW systems can remove some of those chemicals through a process called phytoremediation.
